There are 2 ways which you can fairly easily work out what part number injectors you need for your 1KD equipped beast!
- ToyoDIY parts look up
- Using the existing injector code
Using ToyoDIY Parts Look Up:
Firstly, head to toyodiy
On this home page, you’ll need to select ‘Enter parts catalogue”
![How to see what 1KD injector Part number you need](https://dieselgeeks.com.au/wp-content/uploads/image6.png)
Once on that page, I find it easiest to use the ‘Select your car’ link nearer the top of the page:

Then, you can input your Vin Number (1) and hit search (2). Once you have done this, you will see that a build will appear at the bottom (3). Click that.

Then Injection Nozzle - in this case, 22-01 (this number might change, but the number will be the same)

Toyota Hilux 1KDInjector part numbers ALWAYS start with 23670- - so look through the options and find the one that starts with that:

Copy and paste that. Once you have done so, go to the DieselGeeks website and search for this part number and the correct injector will automatically be displayed below:

How to select the part number based on existing injector codes:
The most accurate way to get the correct injectors is to use a scan tool and read the injector codes stored in the ecu. I have had instances in the past where someone has bought the same injectors that were in the vehicle, only to find that someone had previously put the wrong ones in, and we then replicated the fault.
If you’ve owned your car for a long period of time or the above is not a concern, then simply see what is on the top of the injector, and use the guide below.
The first 2 digits of the code, is in essence, the part number of the injector. If it starts with an:
- 11 - Hilux 1KD Euro3 05-06 Injector (095000-8290)
- 13 - Hilux 1KD Euro4 06-09 Injector (095000-7780)
- 18 - Hilux 1KD Euro4 09-15 Injector (295050-0460)
In the image below, we can see that the injector code starts with a ‘13’ - and therefore this injector is the 23670-39316 / 095000-7780.
