Denso introduced the aftermarket version to improve availability, simplify manufacturing, and offer a more cost-effective option. Rather than coding every injector individually, they now produce them to a tight standard spec. The quality is still genuine Denso — the calibration method is just different.
What does this mean for you?
These are still 100% genuine Denso injectors. They are designed to run within factory operating limits and are suitable for standard replacement applications. The only difference is that OEM injectors are individually fine-tuned per cylinder, while the aftermarket version runs a standardised calibration across the full set.
Which code do I use?
Use the generic calibration code that came in the box with your injectors. Enter that same code for each injector where the vehicle requires it. If you’re not sure, stop and contact us before you fit anything.
Why do we supply this version?
We source injectors based on availability, supply consistency, and application fit. In some cases, the genuine aftermarket version is simply the best option available at the time of your order.
Before you fit them
Make sure the fuel system is clean and free of contamination. Use only the code that was supplied with your injectors, and follow the correct installation procedure throughout.
Not what you were after?
If you specifically needed original-style, individually coded injectors, contact us before installation and we’ll sort it out.
